I got a pop quiz for you. True or False:
- You’re a blogger that writes about what you’re most passionate
- You dream of quitting that 9 to 5 so that you’d be free to create and inspire for a living instead
- The idea of creating your own schedule and hours really appeals to you
- You’d love to take your blog and have it fund the life that you dream of having
Chances are most of those statements ring true to you.
You’d LOVE to turn your hobby blog into a business that produces consistent income. But finding the time to do that efficiently and effectively while still juggling that 9 to 5 has been a huge challenge.
You’ve made some headway. You’ve added some ads to your sidebar. You’ve sold some sponsorships spots. You’ve probably even accepted a sponsored post or two or three. But what you’ve done so far isn’t bringing in enough. And your pageviews just aren’t growing like you need them to either.
You’re frustrated and exhausted. And you’d just love for someone to give you a magic roadmap that will get you from where you are now to being your own Boss Girl Creative Entrepreneur.
Girl…I’ve been right where you are. I’ve faced these exact same hurdles. And I’m here to tell you that your blog can become a business that supports you and your family. I’ve done it and I’m here to help you do the same.
But first, we have to be honest and set some realistic expectations. There is no getting rich quick in blogging. You won’t be able to quit your 9 to 5 in just a few months. But you can set yourself up to create that dream life, one where you are able to create your own schedule and spend more time with those you love.
How? It’s like one of my signature cocktails… 3 basic ingredients for a blogging business of yum!
- Boss Girl Mindset
- Blog to Business Roadmap
- Support & accountability to keep you moving forward
For the past few years that you’ve been blogging, you’ve been thinking like a hobby blogger: blogging when you want, blogging about what you want, accepting free product in exchange for a post or social media shout-outs. But to take your blog to the business level you need to change that mindset to having a composed editorial calendar, writing posts for your ideal customer, accepting sponsored opportunities that fit within your brand, creating a sound social media schedule.
And that’s what the Boss Girl mindset looks like:
Boss Girls are Creative Entrepreneurs who kick butt, take names & share their brilliance with the world. (Ohhh that’s good…go tweet that!)
The next ingredient: your blog to business roadmap.
Ever find yourself asking: what do you do first? How do you monetize? What product or service do you offer? How do you find engaged readers? How do you find your ideal customer?
Those are all great questions — important questions that you need to answer. And coming up with those answers is part of the process of creating your business roadmap.
A good roadmap consists of:
- Your brand (what & who is your brand?)
- Your ideal customer (who is reading your content, who are you creating content for)
- Your monetization strategy (how you are making money)
- Your list (the people that represent your community and ideal customers)
This is how Boss Girls turn their blogs into a full time income source. There’s a lot that goes into the back-end of running a successful business (aka your blog). And you’ve got to start thinking of it as a business now, because that’s your goal is right?
Unfortunately, you’ve got to figure this stuff out. If you don’t figure it out, you’ll end up wasting time, energy and money throwing caution to the wind, flying by the seat of your pants, hoping that something will happen for you. It won’t. I promise. There’s not a business out there that became successful overnight just because.
Okay, so you’ve started to change your mindset and are calling your blog a business. You’ve got your plan. Now it’s time to roll out your own red carpet and make that blogging dream a reality!
And that’s why having the third and tastiest component, support and accountability is so important. You see there will be times where something just doesn’t quite work the way you thought it would.
Have you ever tried a layout change on your blog and your stats started dropping? Or created a new program or launched an idea and heard only crickets? Get bogged down in seeing your numbers moving at a snails pace?
I’ve been there and done that. It happens to every blogger at some point and probably more than once if they are being honest with themselves. It’s definitely happened to me more than once.
And that’s why having a support system has been my glue. Having people that can cheer me back into a place where I can pick up the pieces and move forward again when I fall. Having a group that can walk with me to celebrate my wins. Having a group that I can openly ask questions without fear that one of them is going to poach my idea(s). This group = my glue. And it’s something that you need. Because everyone needs a support system in place. A tribe of Boss Girls to share the wins and the pull-your-hair-out-frustrations.
And that, my bloggy sistah, brings us to what my fellow bloggers have been asking for… help with making their blog into a viable business.
So that got me thinking… how could I help more people, like you, become a Boss Girl Creativepreneur?
My solution: Boss Girl Creative Creativepreneur Mastermind Program

The nitty gritty…
When you join the 3-month Boss Girl Creative Creativepreneur Program, you’ll receive:
6 Live Group Calls: Every other week we’ll meet for 60 to 90-minutes via Google Hangout. I’ll be going over key points from the previous week’s lesson and the current week’s lesson and answering any questions you might have. These will be scheduled in the evening CST and will be recorded so if you can’t make it you won’t miss out.
Weekly Assignments: you’ll receive weekly assignments to keep you moving forward. Each assignment is going to be bite-size but designed to help you achieve your goals. Not too much work that it overwhelms you, but enough to keep you busy working on building your brand and community.
Weekly Prompts: in the Facebook group, I’ll be posting prompts that tie in with each week’s assignment. These will help you set realistic goals and provide a place where we can check-in and report on how we are doing.
Access to Private Facebook Group for the 3 months: for the duration of the mentorship program you’ll have access to the private Facebook group. Here’s where you can share your wins, ask questions, and support one another.
You In? Let’s talk $$
Transitioning your hobby blog into a business takes an investment of your time and money. I’ve spent over $6000 just in completing marketing training courses, working with business coaches, and joining entrepreneur mentoring groups. Now I’m taking all that I’ve learned and applied in my business successfully and have incorporated it into this program for a fraction of the cost.
In order to keep this affordable, I’ve created two payment options:
Space is limited to 10 participants.
And for a limited time only, I’m offering a special bonus for those of you who’d like some individual attention. Purchase 1, 2 or 3 one-on-one sessions (60 minutes in length) to be scheduled & used during the Mastermind program. Here we can look at your specific blog to business needs and you’ll be able to pick my brain at length.
